Free Cheese Every Day!
The cheese festival slices up two giant 300 pound wheels of
fresh cheddar each year to serve free to festival go'ers.

Arrive early for the official festival opening on Saturday and have your picture taken with Artie and one of the giant wheels. Shortly later, after they are sliced up we'll begin serving all of it with crackers to the throngs that line up early for the "erst kase bedinen" or first cheese serving.
Don't worry though,
there will be plenty to go around each day. And if you like what you
get free and want to take some home... there are two cheese shops
right down town that can fix you up.
