Central Illinois' Best Labor Day Celebration is
now THREE BIG DAYS





    Saturday

  • 6am to 11am - Fireman's Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at Firehouse
    South edge of town Rt 133 and Vine Sts
  • 9am - Festival opens with merchants sidewalk sales, pony rides, wagons rides, Petting zoo, strolling clowns, flea, craft, and food vendors downtown.
  • 9am - Car - Truck - Motorcycle show registration begins- Illinois and Hickory
  • 9am - Col Klink's Inflatable Kids Area opens, Pony Rides,  Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Children's games and etc. in Arties' Party Zone
  • 9am - Laser Tag - Aschermann's Parking Lot - South Vine St
  • 9am - Antique Tractor Show , all day -  Farm Collectors Assoc. -Annex Parking Lot
  • 9:30am-Gene Trimble Strolling Clown band
  • 10am to 6pm - Amish Buggy Rides - Visitors Center -All day
  • 10AM Paul Walker Martial Arts Demo - Gazebo Stage
  • 10 AM - Vine St Christian Church Ice Cream Social and the church on South
                            Vine St.
  • 10:30  - Balloon Giveaway by 1st National Bank at Arties' Party Zone 
  • 11am - Methodist Church Ham & Bean  meal at the Community bldg on 
                         east Progress St
  • 11am -"ERSTE KASE SCHNITZEN" - The celebratory first cutting of the cheese
                            officially open the festival. - Main Stage-Gazebo Area.   
  • 11:30 - Chain Saw Artist - Aschermann's Parking lot on South Vine   
  • 12pm- Noon -"ERSTE KASE BEDINEN" - Line up for the first FREE CHEESE GIVEAWAY. Over 300 pounds of cheddar and crackers will be passed out by celebrities in this first serving. - Main Cheese Tent  in Cheezy Hollow
  • Noon - Car-Truck-Morotcycle Show begins on Hickory St. Sponsored by Tim Mooney Ford  & K.C. Summers
  • Noon - Charity Dunk Tank - WCIA TV Morning Crew , Anne Dill and Derrick Fabert "Take a Dive For The Toy Drive - Arties Party Zone
  • 12:30 pm - Chain Saw Carving Auction - Cheese Tent in Cheezy Hollow
  • 1pm - Charity Dunk Tank - Arthur Mayor Ron Kingery - Arties Party Zone
  • Live Stage Entertainment  - Main Stage - Gazebo Parking lot
        1pm - Jim Easter and the Artistics - 50's-60's Rock and Roll
        5pm -The Henningsons
  • 1:30 - Chain Saw Artist - Aschermann's Parking lot on South Vine
  • 1pm - Charity Dunk Tank - WCIA's Robert Reese takes a Dive for the Toy Drive - Arties Party Zone
  • 2pm 11th Annual Cheese Eating Nationals -Sponsored by www.AuntSarah.com  Stuff yourself with more cheese and earn some national recognition! Youth and Adult categories, no entry fee - Main Cheese Tent  Registration @ 1pm
  • 2pm - Charity Dunk Tank -   Arthur Mayor Ron Kingery - Arties Party Zone
  • 3pm - 2nd Chain Saw Carving Auction - Cheese Tent in Cheezy Hollow
  • 3pm - Charity Dunk Tank -   AHS Coaches - Arties Party Zone
  • 3:30 - Chain Saw Artist - Aschermann's Parking lot on South Vine
  • 4pm - Charity Dunk Tank - Arthur Firemen - Arties Party Zone
  • 4 pm - 11th Annual International Cheese Curling Team Championships - one of the most popular events at each festival. Grab a broom and curl for points. Compete in teams of four. Bring your trained curlers, your family, or just team up with somebody standing nearby. Take home your 4 pound Baby Swiss cheese "stone" for your efforts and maybe an world title.  No age limit, no entry fee, and a lot of fun for all. Sanctioned by the International Cheese Curling Assoc. - Main Cheese Tent
  • 5pm - Charity Dunk Tank -  - Arties Party Zone
  • 5pm Live Stage Entertainment - The Henningson's - Gazebo Stage
  •  7pm Festival Closes for the Day

Schedule times change a bit all the time. Come early and spend the day. Last minute information at the Arthur Welcome center at the North end of the Festival and also at the Cheese Tent at Illinois and Vine St in the center of the festival.
