Every Labor Day Weekend in the Heart of Illinois Amish Country

 

Central Illinois' Best Labor Day Celebration is
now THREE BIG DAYS

 

Monday

  • 6-10am Lion's Club Breakfast
  • 6am - Rat Race 5k  10k Run/walk Register for all races at the Visitors Center on East Progress St beginning at 6:30am
  • 7:15am - One Mile Fun Run
  • 7:30am - Rat Race 5k & 10k Runners Begin
  • 7:45am - Rat Race 5k Walkers begin
  • 9:30am- Kids "Chase the Cheese" Fun Run - Progress Street
  • 9am -Festival opens with merchants sidewalk sales; pony rides, petting zoo, Colonel Klink's Inflatables, strolling clowns, in Artie's Party Zone;
    flea, craft, and food vendors downtown.
  • 9am - Antique Tractor Show , all day - Annex Parking Lot
  • 10am - Rat Race Awards Ceremony at Gazebo Stage area
  • 10am -4pm Amish Buggy Rides - all day North of Visitors Center
  • 11am Free Balloons hosted by 1st National Bank - Artie's Party Zone
  • 11am Charity Dunk Tank- - Arties Party Zone
  • Noon - Charity Dunk Tank-   - Arties Party Zone
  • Noon - Antique Tractor "Slow Races"  -  Annex Parking Lot
  • 12:30pm - Free 60 foot long Sub Sandwich - sponsored by Country Cheese N' More of downtown Arthur - served at the Main Cheese Tent in Cheesy Hollow
  • 1pm - Charity Dunk Tank -Arties Party Zone
  • 1pm -Live Stage entertainment - Jacob Dow - vocalist 
  • 1:30pm -Dritte Kase Bedinen - our 3rd Free Cheese Giveaway begins  at the Main Cheese Tent - The last of the 700 pounds of cheese and crackers fill the bellies of hungry cheese lovers. Be sure to get your share
  • 2pm - Charity Dunk Tank -  Arties Party Zone
  • 2pm Magician - on main Gazebo stage
  •  3pm  -Live Stage entertainment - Dry Creek Station - Gazebo Stage
  • 3pm  - Charity Dunk Tank-  - Arties Party Zone
  • 4pm - Charity Dunk Tank- - Arties Party Zone
  • 5pm Festival Closes

Schedule times change a bit all the time. Come early and spend the day. Last minute information at the Arthur Welcome center at the North end of the Festival and also at the Cheese Tent at Illinois and Vine St in the center of the festival.
